Another nice day so a visit to Spike Isand and it is looking like it's not so far from completion.
The Centre Tower Crane has now been dismantled also WEBSTER on the Runcorn side has now been lowered onto the ground and is also is being dismantled.
As Brian Thompson said in his recent record on the Runcorn side, both units are being sent abroad. The final support cables have now been fitted on the North tower
and looking at the photo's I consider the gap to be closed.
Having passed Ditton section recently I often wonder how it’s going to turn out because at the moment
it looks a complete mess.
