A short visit to Spike on what was a real scorcher of a day, I had to stop about three times because of the heat.
The road section on the Widnes side appears to be now connected to the tower section and the Central tower appears to be complete as all the scaffolding has been removed.
On one of the pictures taken of the machine that has been doing the sections from the towers appears to have overlapped the road section,
if the casting has taken place this will have completed the join.
